With the assistance of ART&S, the organisation for hotel businesses Federalberghi has analyzed the effectiveness of Limited Traffic Zones in thirty-six Italian municipalities with high tourist intensity.
The report detected the pros and cons of the adopted solutions (schedules, costs, payment methods, permits, procedures, system controls, etc).
It paid particular attention to the impact that LTZs have on making a destination attractive for tourists, all while considering operators’s opinions and acquiring information on the services that accommodation facilities take to reduce the inconveniences that traffic limitations cause to tourists.
