Spatial Interventions

Spatial interventions are physical designs or measures that interact with public space and transport flows in order to improve safety and/or quality of living in certain zones or streets in a city. Interventions can be at the micro-scale (e.g. traffic calming measures) up to meso and macro-scale (e.g. superblocks) and can be individual measures or a combined set of measures like in the example of superblocks.
