Mobility concepts

Refers to innovative mobility schemes, services or business models focused on the use of new technologies, vehicles and transport infrastructures also in combination with existing elements (e.g. active mobility, public transport or UVAR measures) in order to accelerate, maximise or introduce significant changes in mobility patterns and landscapes or significantly mitigate negative impacts.
Mobility concepts can be considered “disruptive” when the level of change or impact is particularly relevant in size (i.e. on mobility demand) or in time (fast change). Examples of mobility concepts are MaaS, superblocks, automated shuttles, ridehailing platforms, application of C-ITS, dockless shared scooters, cycle logistics schemes, etc.
