Are you ready for a new era for Urban Vehicle Access Regulations (UVAR) in Europe?
Low Emission Zones, Limited Traffic Zones, Charging Schemes, Pedestrian Zones and Pedestrian Priority Zones that make use of traffic calming interventions are powerful tools and regulatory measures to limit vehicles’ access to sensitive areas or the use of the most polluting vehicles in cities.
Projects ReVeAL, UVARBox, UVARExchange and Dynaxability come together in a unique CIVITAS 2021 session dedicated to exploring the above-mentioned themes and highlighting the tools that are emerging to provide support to cities developing UVARs.
Come and join us on October 20, from 16:00 to 17:30, in Session 4 “A new era for Urban Vehicle Access Regulations (UVAR) in Europe”.

More about the projects
ReVeAL tools support the development of effective, good practice UVARs. UVARBox is a tool to digitise UVARs so they, e.g., appear in navigation devices, making compliance easier. UVARExchange is developing EU-wide UVAR enforcement options and aligning signage and information. Dynaxibility is looking at UVARs in the wider context of Functional Urban Areas.
